Nothing works unless you do! I mean Jeff does! Time flies when you’re having fun, right?! Man, what a crazy eleven months!
I was looking back through my photos and reflecting on what I should focus on today.
I can feel the excitement on the progress every day as we get closer to completing each project. But the most labor intensive, wallet draining, and stressful has been the shop!
Each step of the way has held a new surprise, cost, code or something we didn’t know or think of.
Starting this project was like driving though an unfamiliar neighborhood while visiting the in-laws, and driving past an open two car garage only to look in and see an old chevy nova with a blower and full roll cage AND next to it is a full dresser Harley on a lift. The floors are epoxied operating room white and there are multiple Snap On Rolling cabinets, one of which is actually a kegerator. And you think to yourself, I should have that in my garage.
Or like watching This Old House and thinking, “I can do that” but forgetting how easy it is for them because they have every tool known to man that could ever be needed for the job.
Anyway, you get the idea…. We might have overshot a little, but we self-corrected and made it through and here we are today, I would say ¾ done.
We have a goal of being done by October 11, 2025 for the grand opening of our store. We have booked a concert venue and will have the Farm set up for an amazing opening.
Nuke Bushner will be headlining the event, and we are so lucky to have him!
The shop and store should be completed, and the website will be up and running within the next week. Yea!!!
It’s been a journey for the books! Dreams really do come true!
