Office Hours Our office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m for our woodworking shop. EST, Monday to Friday. During these hours you can expect us to be at the store unless otherwise noted in our event calendar on the website. Emails to be answered by a human being during these times, when we are not with customers. Orders, quote requests, and inquiries can be sent by email and website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To place a custom order online we require a small deposit of $25 to draw up the plans and figure out the costs. This is non-refundable. If you go forward with the project, the deposit goes towards the cost of your item. If your item costs less than the deposit, your deposit will be refunded minus the cost of the item and a $5 drafting fee. When requesting a custom project, please include as much information as possible, as well as inspiration photos, this will ensure that our designs are in line with your ideas and time is not wasted. Please also include your budget, this does not mean we will try to use all of your budget, if we know we cannot complete your project within your budget, we will not draft the plans and will refund your deposit. Once your project is agreed up by both parties, we require 60% deposit to cover supplies and labor. The final 40% payment will be due prior to pick-up or shipping. Custom projects can take months to complete. Once your order is placed, we ask that you give Jeff at least three months before your first enquiry. If he finishes early, he will contact you. If you would like updates on progress, we will attempt to send photo updates, but this is not guaranteed because it slows our craftsmen down, but we will do our best. Be sure to provide us with an email or phone number to text updates to. About your Craftsman Our Craftsman/Owner Jeff Mcgahee has created unique pieces of handmade wood sculpture and furniture for nearly three decades. Since the outset of his career, Jeff consistently challenged the traditional boundaries of functional design and established himself as a ‘no one’s dream is impossible’ guy. Jeff is renowned in Texas and Georgia for his superb craftsmanship, his whimsically organic forms, his ability to repurpose old into new, and his development of original techniques for shaping solid, stack-laminated wood. Jeff continues to push the boundaries of heirloom furniture art, crossing over into the design world bringing people’s ideas and dreams to realization. If you have something that means the world to you and needs to be restored, you have on old piece of wood from your childhood home that you would like incorporated into a table, or you have ideas for unique furniture that will last a lifetime, Jeff is the man you want to do the work for you.

One of the last trips I took with Matthew was July 21, 2013. We went back home to Georgia from Texas, and it was a father son trip. Matthew drove his car, and I was happy that he did because it meant that I could just sit back and enjoy the trip and not stress about driving. While we were home we went to my grandfather's old barn because I wanted a piece of barn wood to make a wood project. The barn was 80 years old, dusty, and weathered. Now Matthew Loved his car, and he kept it in prestige condition and when I tore off a three-foot board, it took some fast talking and some pleading on my part for him to allow this board in his car. He took off his shirt and made me take off mine, just so we could wrap it up so as not to get the carpet dirty. I brought that piece of board home with me to Texas with the intention of making something out of it. Then when Matt was killed that 3-foot board became very precious and I could not bring myself to touch it... That is until today. Today this father cut a piece of that plank in honor of my son. I have never been prouder to have been his father and sometimes all you can hold on to is a moment in time. This was made from that board and that memory will be with me till I die. – Jeff
